UNEP COMMITTEE

Agenda:Understanding the obstacles to the transition to renewable energy, and accelerating its implementation

UNHRC

Chairperson

Nishi Kumari M

Nishi Kumari, a CA aspirant currently doing her first year of undergrad, feels honoured to chair the UNEP committee at YBMUN IV. She started MUNning in grade 7 and was one of the Secretaries-General of YBMUN III. She is thrilled to bring a blend of curiosity, passion, and a bit of fun to the Committee discussions. When she is not found chairing or researching on a laptop, you'll likely find her lost in a book, listening to songs, or making faces at her friends just to keep things lighthearted. Her love for exploration isn't just limited to the outdoors — it's also about exploring new ideas and solutions. She eagerly awaits to meet you all and see what you have up your sleeves for this conference!

UNHRC

Vice-Chairperson

Jiya M

Jiya M, a grade 12 student at Yuvabharathi, has been involved in MUNs, which has nurtured her passion for current affairs. She is driven by a desire to understand how global dynamics influence people's lives. Through MUNs and beyond, she strives to continually grow and learn by exchanging ideas and finding common ground amidst differing opinions. Her Best Delegate award recognition reflects her commitment to understanding global dynamics and motivates her to strive for meaningful dialogue and solutions.
